CommUnity offer two deals:
200 gbp per calender month with a 5p per meg surcharge over 100meg
and 500 gbp per calender month flat.On top of that they have a 15% reseller scheme through which
we could recoup some of the money and, generously, they have discounted
the 200gbp to 170gbp.
This brings me onto the issue of sharing the costs. As you know I have been paying vast sums for years, but
have figured that I would be doing so anyway.I think we have a new and clearer definition of core members:
those who contribute to the site AND pay for it :)
(Which means currently there is only one core member :)SO:
All referal money should go to the Paneris Fund.
In addition Core members should set up standing orders to
the paneris fund ????
Or a per project levy???or what?
>Contracts to follow. All of the above is before VAT, I have told them initially
to make to contract out to Context Computing,
but perhaps this should be HOOP in light of the VAT.CommUnity currently have surplus applications staff,
but this does change and will. The MD is young and commanding, I like him, but, as ever in
business, he is a bit sharp. They definitely have a more 'us' feel, even though IWay
have a better machine room and more bandwidth. All in all I think they are a goer.
