Appologies for previous message in thread,
typing got lost in the bit bucket.>>>I will put some words about the PanEris Way Discount
>>>and Paneris Fund in.>>What on earth is this all about? Does anyone except TimP know
>>about this? Have I missed out on some discussion?See Sales board.
>>Just my 2p: I don't think we should have this.
I am jumping the gun, as I only posted the above
last night.>The main reason why I don't like this is the difficulty in administrating
>this discount. How do we measure how much of the above has been done by
>the customer (as a percentage) and how much of the management fee relates
>to the above? We can dangle this as a carrot to some customers, but the
>amount of money involved is less than 8% of the total cost (which is the
>full amount of the management fee, and I don't think any leaders out there
>would like to see all that money go) and we can't put a total figure on
>it until after the project has been completed.>And to a large extent I think that we will get data on Paneris and the PMS
>if we fill these in - goodness only knows how some people would use our
>systems :-)The reason I wanted to put these words in now is that
I have three customers who I am grooming for the discount,
and I wanted to have some words in place, even before
the software is written.
I see the Paneirs Way Discount as the carrot
to the naming and shaming
stick.

TimPPS It is also important that the finders fee
cannot be construed as a bribe, as that is illegal. If a web surfer finds Paneris and gives us work
for the company she is employed by then we must not
give that individual a payment, but the finders fee
should be discounted from the project.
