>about this? Have I missed out on some discussion?>Just my 2p: I don't think we should have this.
OK, I have amended the money page to remove this until we have had
some discussion about this. Here is the text so that we don't loose it :The PanEris Way Discount
To qualify for the PanEris Way Discount a customer
needs to sign up to the way we work.
The discount is graduated according to how many of the
following criteria are met:
- PMS system used for project planning by customer
- Project initiated from http://www.paneris.co.uk/
- Invoices accepted on web
- All project related email posted from site.
- All documents kept on site
- Documents uploaded to site by customer
This is just a reallocation of the management fee,
that normally goes to the project leader.
Essentially a customer can be paid if they do some of the
administative work. The main reason why I don't like this is the difficulty in administrating
this discount. How do we measure how much of the above has been done by
the customer (as a percentage) and how much of the management fee relates
to the above? We can dangle this as a carrot to some customers, but the
amount of money involved is less than 8% of the total cost (which is the
full amount of the management fee, and I don't think any leaders out there
would like to see all that money go) and we can't put a total figure on
it until after the project has been completed. And to a large extent I think that we will get data on Paneris and the PMS
if we fill these in - goodness only knows how some people would use our
systems :-)>>yours
