Although I find it very useful to be notified of
page modifications, new nodes and messages from the
Paneris site, I am finding that I end up with
masses of messages to plough through almost daily.
This is particularly the case as much of the
discussion goes on outside of "conventional"
working hours.Additionally, many of the messages - in particular
new nodes and modifications - are simple one line
notifications. This take time to look through and
archive anything relevant.Might I suggest the introduction of a "digest" mail
for each of these features, which could provide
a basic summary of discussions taking place, new
nodes and modifications to everyone at Paneris in
a single, compact mail. The mail could be sent on a once or twice daily
basis, but also with a saturation level so that
users would still be aware of increased activity.Futher features (if possible) could be to allow
users to "subscribe" to message threads which are
of interest to them, but which they had not been
sent the full text on.Any thoughts?
