There is something very confusing about the way in
which modify new page works at the moment.

I throw up a new window, using target='_new',
you are then returned, in your current window, to the new version of the document
you were viewing, so you now have two views of the file, different
but with the same version number.

You only need to go and make a cup of tea and you have no way of
telling the two windows apart, except from their content.
This is a bad thing.

TimJ said he didn't like it, which I brushed aside (sorry Tim),
but now I have got terribly confused myself.

So in the interim I am just going to return it to a non targetted
href, but I would still like to be able to see the old version
whilst editing it, can anyone help?

yours
timP
