> prepared to take it on...I haven't yet had time to read the full minutes, but I recall
this being dicussed. I'm quite happy to take this on as I am
unable to contibute to the CGI development of Paneris, but
have the necessary skills to deal with this aspect.I think it would also be interested to do a corporate identity
for a non-corporate.>You, I am sure, know much more about Corporate styling than any of us,
>but here are my thoughts anyway:>We need a logo which is easily scaled from a one inch square for business cards
>upto Advertising Hoarding size :)No problem - thought you had me there didn't ya! :p
I always supply this as part of a corporate ID design, simply
because clients are often vague about, or have not anticipated,
the logo's final application.>The styling will be applied to business cards, the web site and
>possibly letterheads and compliment slips. No doubt you will wish to put the letterheads through your printers?
This will mean choosing an appropriate paper stock which not only
conotes something about the philosophy/approach/emotion of
PanEris, but also doesn't shead lint all over the rollers and screw
up the mechanics.>I think we would like to have the screen based logo animated.
Why?>My personal design guide would be that the logo should borrow imagery both
>from the Mandelbrot set and from Greek Mythology (the Kalisti Apple).
>Myles says: keywords: non-heirarchical and competant.I recall discussing my feeling on an image which conotes an
organic/evolutionary process, which might well fit with the
Mandelbrot. However, I would be cautious in my application of
this as computer "nerds" are very fond of Mandelbrot sets,
and often use them on their websites. The meaning might be lost
on the casual observer.>Examples of these images are :

>members of Paneris, but I like it.Useful stuff there. I've started trauling through the Discordian
sites and perhaps we can discuss this further when I see you next. Some firmer ground on the philosophy from all concerned would be
helpful too. I changed some stuff the other day but no one's
noticed yet by the looks of it. :)ColinR
