Move over SAP

If Paneris is to aim to produce a saleable suite of systems we have to decide upon how far we want to own the underlying technology.

On the existing Paneris site I (TimP) have vascillated between trying to do everything from scratch and using the CPAN materials.

I feel that for , such as CVS, we should concentrate upon front ends, but that for more central products, such as the messaging system we should create, or at least derive, everything.
